The 3rd Bioforphys conference, on the subject of Energy and information in Living Matter, will take place from 6–10 September 2026 at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), Spain.

Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics 2026

The 21st International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CIBB 2026) will take place from 2–4 September 2026 at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. The conference will host a special session titled Quantum Artificial Intelligence for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics: Theory, Algorithms, and Applications focusing on the intersection of quantum computing, AI, and computational biology.

The ALIFE special session, Quantum Biology and Artificial Life — New Physical Principles for Living Systems will take place from 17–21 August 2026 in Waterloo, Canada.

QuEBS 2026

The QuEBS (Quantum Effects in Biological Systems) took place from 3–5 June 2026 in Budapest.

The conference was a great success, bringing together researchers from across the globe to explore one of science’s most fascinating frontiers. Hosted in the beautiful city of Budapest, the meeting provided an inspiring setting for discussions that ranged from fundamental quantum phenomena in biology to emerging applications in health, sensing, and quantum technologies.

The Quantum Biology Forum

The Quantum Biology Forum took place from 13–14 April 2026, in the Washington D.C. area, USA.

The inaugural Quantum Biology Forum, held in Silver Spring, Maryland and hosted by Northwell Health with support from United Therapeutics, was a significant milestone for the rapidly growing field of quantum biology, with many describing the meeting as one of the clearest signs yet that the discipline is moving toward broader scientific and medical impact.

Frontiers and Challenges in Quantum Biology

Frontiers and Challenges in Quantum Biology was a two-day conference from 16–17 April 2026 at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, marking nearly a century since Niels Bohr’s 1932 ‘Light and Life’ lecture that is seminal in the history of quantum biology.
